CCCS offers a wide variety of activities to enrich the growth of our students.  We believe that the Word of God integrated into all areas of disciplines – spiritual, academic, athletic, and social – is the Lord’s calling on our school.  Biblical integration is the mainstay here at CCCS.

In this section you will find a brief description of the various ministries, as well as information on chapels and the clubs and organizations, your child has available to them as a student of CCCS.

Discipleship Groups

Our Middle School students have the wonderful opportunity to participate in discipleship groups.  Girls for God and Boys Discipleship groups meet weekly during lunch. Students participate in a variety of activities, bible studies, and ministry opportunities.  These clubs are a great way to get plugged in at CCCS Middle School.

Middle School Chapels

Fun, fellowship, worship, and learning are all part of our Middle School Chapels.  Chapels are held on Monday and Friday from 9:40 – 10:20am in the Main Sanctuary. Parents are welcome to join us, please check in to the school office ahead of time for a “Visitor’s Pass”.  Worship for Chapel is student lead and available by audition to those who have a passion for and calling to worship.

Arts

To check out the variety of ways your student can get involved; learn to play an instrument, read music, sing, and enjoy the many facets of the world of music, visit our Arts section.  Music is a wonderful way to improve your child’s concentration, self-discipline, and small motor skills, just to name a few.

Middle School ASB

Middle School is a new beginning for our students as we guide them more and more towards independence and self-discipline.  A fun and interesting way to encourage our students’ personal growth is through our Associated Student Body (ASB).  Middle School ASB students participate in a wide variety of activities including the planning of school events and pep rallies, alongside the many opportunities offered to them to minister to the school body and community.  ASB meets on a regular basis during lunch.

Operation Cookie

Twice a month during the school year, a group of students drives to Camp Pendleton to minister to the Marines based there. In preparation for each trip, students gather (under the leadership of Gregg and Susan Zamora) dozens of cookies, drinks, and other goodies and place them in bags which have been hand decorated with patriotic symbols, pictures, and scripture. Read more about this amazing ministry in a write-up by one of our CCCS alumni.
