Peru

Calvary Chapel Christian Middle School has been given the opportunity to travel to the country of Peru located in South America. The people of Peru are hungry for hope, discipleship, truth and solid doctrine. This short-term mission trip is a life-changing experience for all of us! During this annual trip, we maintain the work that was started in November 2007 by supporting Marco and Monique (our missionary family from CC Downey who now live in Paracas, Peru) in the continuation of their church plant in Pisco. We also host several outreaches in the surrounding community by holding soccer tournaments, conferences, Vacation Bible School and other activities for the local children. Please pray for our teams as we begin to plan and prepare for what the Lord has for us.

Peru 2012

Get ready for the 11/12 trip to Peru; we will be taking sign-ups the first week of school. The trip dates are April 4th throught the 12th of 2012!

Parent information meeting: September 2nd at 6:30pm in the Mini Chapel

Bring your $100 non-refundable deposit to save your spot. Space is limited. There will be time for Q & A at the meeting so bring your questions with you.

Fundraisers for the team will begin as soon as we receive your deposit to help you raise the funds to go.

If your child is interested in going to Peru, they will need a passport, download the “Passport Information” flyer for information on obtaining one. Also necessary for the trip is a completed Missions Application and Contract. Please complete both and return them to the Calvary Chapel Downey Missions Dept. or you may return them to Pastor Joe in the school office.
