8th Grade Middle School is offered Culinary Arts 1. The areas covered range from cooking vocabulary, the proper names and uses of utensils, kitchen safety, food-borne illnesses, correctly reading, interpreting and writing recipes, proper table settings, to the actual hands-on preparation of foods in our Culinary Arts (Laboratory) Kitchen.
After successful completion of this course, students have the opportunity to move on to Culinary Arts 2, 3, and 4 once they have entered High School for more in depth studies.
