CCCS offers a wide variety of activities to enrich the growth of our students. We believe that the Word of God integrated into all areas of disciplines – spiritual, academic, athletic, and social – is the Lord’s calling on our school. Biblical integration is the mainstay here at CCCS.
In this section, you will find a brief description of various ministries including chapels, as well as the clubs, activities, and organizations that your child has the opportunity to participate in.
Junior High Clubs
Our Junior High students have the wonderful opportunity to participate in clubs on campus. Girls for God and Boys’ Chosen Generation clubs meet weekly during lunch. Students participate in a variety of activities, Bible studies, and ministry opportunities. These clubs are a great way to get plugged in at CCCS. Heart to Heart is a ministry opportunity available to students who want to minister in the convalescent homes.
Junior High Chapels
Fun, fellowship, worship, and learning are all part of our JH/HS Chapels. Chapels are held on Monday mornings from 7:50am – 8:50am in the Main Sanctuary. Parents are welcome to join us; please check in to the school office ahead of time for a visitor’s pass.
If you are unable to attend in person, you can watch the live stream on the website here. Chapels are Fridays, 7:55 – 8:50 am.
Music and the Arts
Music is a wonderful way to improve your child’s concentration, self-discipline, and small motor skills, just to name a few. In addition to the formal classroom music courses, students have the opportunity to be on the high school worship team, which leads worship for our weekly chapels, learn to play an instrument, read music, and sing.
Our fine art and performing art department includes a range of courses, from Drama and choir, in addition to music classes. To check out the variety of ways your student can become involved in the music, fine art and performing art departments, visit our Arts section
Junior High ASB
Junior High is a new beginning for our students as we guide them more and more towards independence and self-discipline. A fun and interesting way to encourage our students’ personal growth is through our Associated Student Body (ASB). Junior High ASB students participate in a wide variety of activities including the planning of school events and pep rallies, alongside the many opportunities offered to them to minister to the school body and community. ASB meets on a regular basis during lunch.
