CCCS offers a wide variety of activities to enrich the growth of our students. We believe that the Word of God integrated into all areas of disciplines – spiritual, academic, athletic, and social – is the Lord’s calling on our school. Biblical integration is the mainstay here at CCCS.
In this section you will find a brief description of the various ministries, as well as information on chapels and the clubs and organizations your child has available to them as a student of CCCS.
“Passing The Sword”
Our High School students have the wonderful opportunity to participate in a variety of activities and clubs. ”Passing The Sword” is a club where exemplary students, gifted with spiritual leadership are nominated by their peers and administrators. These students meet weekly during lunch for Bible study and encouragement from teachers and administrators.
Mission trips
Mission trips offer a wonderful opportunity for our students to really see the world and answering the Lord’s calling to serve. Trips range from local trips to Los Angeles to care for the homeless to our Senior Israel trip. Visit our Missions page for all of the exciting details!
High School Chapels
Fun, fellowship, worship, and learning are all part of our High School Chapels. Chapels are held on Monday and Friday from 8:00 – 8:50am in the Main Sanctuary. Parents are welcome to join us, please check in to the school office ahead of time for a “Visitor’s Pass”.
Arts
To check out the variety of ways your student can get involved; learn to play an instrument, read music, sing, and enjoy the many facets of the world of music, visit our Arts section. Music is a wonderful way to improve your child’s concentration, self-discipline, and small motor skills, just to name a few. In addition to the formal classroom music courses, students have to opportunity to be on the High School Worship team which leads worship for our twice-weekly Chapels.
High School ASB
High School is a time for our students to move more and more towards independence and self-discipline. A fun and interesting way to encourage our students’ personal growth is through our Associated Student Body (ASB). High School ASB students participate in a wide variety of activities including the planning of school events and pep rallies, alongside the many opportunities offered to them to minister to the school body and community. ASB meets on a regular basis during lunch.
Other clubs your student may find of interest are: Chess Club, College Bound Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Former Fetuses for Jesus (abortion ministry), and the Old Folks Club (convalescent ministry).
