Hello my name is Al Rodriguez and this will be my third year as varsity head coach. I am a graduate from Huntington Park High School.  I have been coaching girl’s softball for 6 years at recreational, all-stars and travel ball levels. I have coached young athletes for over 13 years, first boys and now girls. God has always called me to youths, first as an assistant in Jr. High ministry, at Calvary Chapel La Mirada then as a chaperon and mentor in Jr. High and high school camps at Calvary Chapel Downey. I inherit a softball program that is full of tradition and glorifying God. Every season brings a new challenge. Our team goals are to compete for league championships and CIF playoffs. My vision for this season is to continue where former Grizzles left off, and God willing bring another title to CCCS!

Ephesians 4:4-6  “There is one body and one spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”
