CCCS offers a wide variety of activities to enrich the growth of our students. We believe that the Word of God integrated into all areas of disciplines – spiritual, academic, athletic, and social – is the Lord’s calling on our school. Biblical integration is the mainstay here at CCCS.
In this section you will find a brief description of the various ministries, as well as information on chapels and the clubs and organizations, your child has available to them as a student of CCCS.
Maranatha Kid’s Club
Our Maranatha Kid’s Club meets twice a month, during lunch recess. This club is open to 2nd – 5th graders desiring to spread God’s Word through love and encouragement to their fellow CCCS students. It is a great time of fun and fellowship.
Elementary Chapels
Fun, fellowship, and learning are all part of our Elementary Chapels. Chapels are held every Wednesday from 8:50 to 9:30am in the Main Sanctuary. Parents are welcome to join us, please check in to the school office ahead of time for a “Visitor’s Pass”.
Arts
To check out the variety of ways your student can get involved; learn to play an instrument, read music, sing, and enjoy the many facets of the world of music, visit our Arts section. Music is a wonderful way to improve your child’s concentration, self-discipline, and small motor skills, just to name a few.
Elementary Garden
Our Elementary Garden is a living classroom. Your students will visit the garden, learning about God’s provision, the beauty of His creation and how to nurture what He has given us. Students in 4th and 5th grades have the opportunity to participate in our Victory Garden Club. These gardeners plant both by transplanting as well as by seed. Vegetables are nurtured, weeds are pulled, and hands get dirty! Great fun and great opportunity for your child.
“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Cor 15:57
