Monday Letter for January 5, 2009
Happy New Year 2009!
Dear Parents,
Everyone loves new beginnings. We all appreciate the opportunity to start over or start again. It is wonderful to know that we don’t have to wait for New Year’s Day each year to begin again. Through Jesus, we have daily opportunities to begin again. “His mercies are new every morning.” (Lamentations 3:23)
As I was writing this note to you, I thought about the song that we sing here at Calvary during worship.
“Lord, I come to you now.
I come into your presence.
Seeking forgiveness your mercy can bring,
Because you died on the cross for my sin.
Lord I surrender, confess everything,
That’s always the place to begin.
Again and again and again.”
We can thank the Lord that again and again and again, He forgives and invites us to begin anew! My prayer for you in 2009 is that you would be an Acts 2:42 (NLT) Christian. The early church believers, “….joined with other believers and devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and fellowship, sharing in the Lord’s supper and in prayer.” This is our reasonable service for all that the Lord has done for us!
Living in His mercy
Again and again and again,
Mrs. Kravig
Dean of Girls
CALVARY CHAPEL CHRISTIAN PRE-SCHOOL
Preparations are well under way as we prepare for the opening of our intended pre-school. If you would like to know more about our plans, please sign the interest sheet in the School Office.
Elementary Chapel
Parents, please come to the School Office to sign-in and get a pre-printed “Chapel Pass”. This pass is only for Chapel. If you need to go elsewhere on campus, you will need to check back in the School Office and get a “Visitor’s Pass”.
ATTENTION: Classroom Deliveries
Parents, please note that the School Office only makes classroom deliveries until 8:45am for lunches and items forgotten at home. Your help in this matter is appreciated. It is imperative we keep classroom disruptions to a minimum. In addition, if you are making a planned delivery, please make sure your child knows that it is their responsibility to come to the School Office to pick it up.
